Tajikistan reached an agreement with Russia on the supply of fruits and vegetables

Almaty. March 5. Silkroadnews - «In Moscow, the Tajik delegation led by Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda took part in the regular meeting of intergovermental comission on trade and economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Russia. The sides discussed the issues of increasing cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, finance, communications, energy, transportation, education",- said the spokesman of the Embassy of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation Muhammad Egamzod.
The Russian side was represented by First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov.
During the meeting it was agreed to supply fruit and vegetable products from Tajikistan to Russia. Particular attention was paid to cooperation in the regulation of labor migration.
As noted, at the suggestion of Russia, Tajikistan is considering grants for the creation of centers for the study of Russian language and Russian-language schools in the district centers of Tajikistan.
In turn, K. Rasulzoda noted that Tajikistan is ready to expand dialogue with Russia - its long-time strategic partner - to expand and strengthen relations in all areas.
Recall trade between Tajikistan and Russia in 2014 was increased by 37%, and reached $1.2 billion.
