Tajikistan's GDP growth in 2015 will be slowed down to 4.4% - EBRD
Almaty. January 23. Silkroadnews - Analysts at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) believe that GDP growth in Tajikistan in 2015 will slow to 4.4%, reported the Tajik news agency (TajikTA).
Despite the very high proportion of remittances that RT gets from Russia, Tajikistan, GDP growth remained high on the expected level of 6.7% in 2014, with limited exposure to the Russian-Ukrainian crisis.
Also, the review found limited impact of the collapse of the ruble in relation to the Tajik Somoni in 2014, as well as the depreciation of the ruble in relation to the national currency (10%).
