Tajikistan to create a unified state register of low-income families

Almaty. November 11. Silkroadnews –Tajikistan will create a unified state register of low-income families, TajikTA reported.

“Tajikistan’s social security bodies have begun to create a unified state register of low-income families”, members of the lower house of the Tajik parliament discussed in regard to the bill “On social aid”.

More than 60 thousand families have already been included in the registry.

At present more than 97 thousand low-income families in 25 pilot districts and cities of the republic receive the state targeted social assistance in the amount of 400 somoni ($50) per year.

Next year the social aid will be provided to low-income families from 15 more cities and districts of the country.
