Beijing. Jul 19. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan will refuse one-story buildings construction in favor of multi-story buildings, the Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) reports on Thursday.
The government decree “On construction of at least five-story residential buildings in administrative centers of cities and regions of the Republic of Tajikistan”, adopted on June 21, 2018, has officially been approved, the site of the central legal database of the republic informed.
The decree text says, taking into account further development of urban planning and limited land resources, the construction of residential buildings in populated areas of the central part, main avenues and streets of the administrative centers of cities and regions shall be conducted with at least five-story residential buildings.
To preserve and strengthen rational and effective use of irrigated agricultural lands, as well as to prevent agricultural land cut, the existing boundaries of their territories and adjacent villages should be taken into account while designing the master plans for the development of administrative centers of cities and districts. Withdrawal of irrigated agricultural lands for the construction of individual residential buildings shall be prohibited unless backed up by strong reasonable grounds or aimed for allocation of strategic and production facilities, the text says.
