Tajikistan took 58th place in the rating of the 96 countries with the best living conditions for pensioners

Almaty. 10 September. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan took 58th place in a new rating of countries with the best living conditions for pensioners, reports the Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Thursday.
Non-governmental organization HelpAge International, with the support of the United Nations conducted a study, the results of which made a rating of the quality of life for people over 60 years under the name of Global AgeWatch Index-2015.
Rating covers 96 countries and 90% of the total number of elderly people in the world.
The most favorable country for the elderly was Switzerland, followed by Norway, Sweden, Germany and Canada. The top ten also included the Netherlands, Iceland, Japan, the US and Britain.
Kyrgyzstan in the ranking took the 51st place, Russia - 65th, Ukraine - 73 th, Georgia - 29th, Armenia - 43th, Lithuania - 63th, Belarus - 64th and Moldova - 77th place. The best performance among the republics of the former Soviet Union turned out to Estonia, which ranked 23rd.
The last - 96th place in the ranking took Afghanistan.
Experts have studied the statistics of the World Bank, the World Health Organization, the International Labour Organization and UNESCO.
In the rankings were taken into account 13 parameters, including the frequency of references to medical facilities, living conditions, education, number of employees and social activities
