Tajikistan took part in a working group meeting SPECA in Baku

Dushanbe. July 1. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan attended the ninth meeting of the Project Working Group of Special Programme for the Economies of Central Asia (SPECA) in Baku, according to the Tajik news agency (TajiikTA) on Tuesday.
The meeting discussed the problems Summit Rio+20, agenda for 2015, and support to governments in the integration of relevant data in the national statistics for monitoring sustainable development in all its aspects, in particular for green growth and the preservation of ecosystems.
It was noted that the results of the adapted in the region global estimations show that the area of environmental statistics is recommended to focus on the convenience for environmental performance and environmental-economic accounts.
Following the meeting, recommendations were made to improve the environmental and economic accounting and their implementation in the national statistical reporting.
