Tajikistan-Uzbekistan business forum to be held in Dushanbe for visit of President of Uzbekistan
Beijing. February 20. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan-Uzbekistan business forum will be held in Dushanbe in March to coincide with the state visit by the Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, scheduled for the first ten days of March, the Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) reported on Tuesday.
The business forum between representatives of business circles of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will be held in Dushanbe in the first half of March this year, a source in the Tajik government said.
Similar exhibitions of industrial goods produced by two neighboring countries were held in Dushanbe and Tashkent last year.
The state visit of the Uzbek leader is expected to result in signing a number of documents on cooperation between two states.
Statistics shows, in 2017 trade turnover between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan amounted to $126 million, including $69 million imports of goods from Uzbekistan and $57 million exports to Uzbekistan.
