Tajikistan will build four waste processing complex for $22 million

Dushanbe. July 11. Silkroadnews - European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has allocated $22 million for construction facilities for the processing and disposal of solid waste, according to the Tajik news agency (TaоikTA) on Friday.
"Among them: $ 9 million for the construction of the complex in Dushanbe, $ 5 million - in Khujand and $8 million - in Kurgan-Tube and Tursunzoda" - said the source.
It is noted that the construction of the complex is planned for the current year.
Currently Tajikistan has 65 landfills for solid waste. Meanwhile, only 4 of them decontaminated waste.
