Tajikistan will conduct a situational analysis of the problems and needs of the dairy sector

Almaty. June 26. Silkroadnews - In Tajikistan, the Food and Agriculture Organization (Food and Agriculture Organization, FAO) is implementing the project in the dairy industry worth $45.7 thousand, reported TajikTA.
Under the project, an international consultant of FAO in close collaboration with local partners will hold a situational analysis of the problems and needs of the dairy sector, and propose effective measures to improve the profitability of the dairy industry, given the peculiarity of the local dairy market.
According to experts, in recent years the local industry in Tajikistan is largely invested in the collection and production of milk. However, the dairy industry of RT faces another problem: it hinders the development of the dominance of imported dairy products, gradually filling the Tajik market.
