Tajikistan will found a new city Sayhun

Almaty. March 25. Silkroadnews - Tajik President Emomali Rahmon during a working visit laid a symbolic stone at the construction site of the new city in the Sughd region in northern Tajikistan, reported the Tajik news agency (TajikTA).
"The President proposed to call the city - Sayhun. It is planned to build housing and related infrastructure, designed for more than 250 thousand inhabitants", - informed the press-service of RT.
During the years of independence of Tajikistan, Sayhun will be the first new town to be built on the territory of the republic.
Residential buildings of the new city will consist of 9 and 12 floors, in the city will be built 19 districts, 17 schools, 31 kindergartens, 140 shopping centers, 40 sports facilities, terminals and markets.
