Taliban decided to relocate heroin labs because of lasting air strikes

Beijing. May 29. Silkroadnews - The leadership of the Taliban group decided to relocate the drugs and heroin laboratories due to lasting air strikes targeting the main financial streamline of the group, the Afghan Telegraph Agency (AfTAG) reported.
The Taliban decided to relocate the drug laboratories to the mountains and valleys, amid fears that air strikes would lead to civilian casualties.
Reportedly, the shadow Taliban governor for Helmand Mullah Manan has ordered his secretary to act and relocate the labs from the towns and residential areas to mountains and valleys, the Afghan Voice Agency wrote.
Talking on a radio with a secretary in a group of Taliban in WhatsApp, Taliban shadow governor Helmand Mullah Manan said about hundreds of people being at risk from bombing and missiles cause of the labs and factory and called for relocation of drugs processing facilities.  
The Taliban’s decision to prevent the death of civilians followed the growing criticism they run into due to civilian casualties, most of which are attributed to the group’s operation.
The Taliban has not yet reacted to this report, but the US commander in Afghanistan, General John Nicholson, warned earlier that an air campaign against the group’s main financial resources will continue.
