Tashkent will host meeting of SCO Regional Antiterrorist Structure

Almaty. September 18. Silkroadnews - revitalization measures in the field of combating terrorism, separatism and extremism on the background of the existing threats in the world will discuss the participants of the 27th meeting of the Council of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO RATS), which opened in Tashkent under the chairmanship of Uzbekistan, KazTAG reports.
The meeting will be attended by representatives of China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and the SCO RATS Executive Committee. The delegation of Kazakhstan at the meeting in Tashkent is headed by Deputy Chairman of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan Nurgali Bilisbekov.
In particular,  will be discussed the work plan for the border services of experts of SCO member states in 2016.
The meeting will assess the results of the joint anti-terrorism exercises of SCO member states' Central Asia- Antiterror-2015", which ended on September 16 on the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
The meeting participants will also discuss the improvement of the legal framework of cooperation of SCO member states in the fight against terrorism, separatism and extremism.
