Tehran and Beijing will strengthen cooperation in the peaceful atom
Almaty. August 27. Silkroadnews - Iran and China are making efforts to develop bilateral cooperation in the field of peaceful nuclear energy, reported the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG).
As the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Ali Akbar Salehi in Tehran and Beijing, there is a deep interest in expanding bilateral cooperation in the field of nuclear energy and peaceful nuclear energy as a whole.
He said that during the current visit to China, he had planned a series of meetings and talks with Chinese officials, where will be discussed possible areas of cooperation. He noted that the parties plan to pay special attention to the heavy water reactor in Arak, in central Iran.
A.Salehi also said that a few days ago between the two countries was signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of design and construction of multi-fuel power plants.
