Tehran is interested in the participation of Japanese companies in oil and gas projects of Iran

Almaty. August 10. Silkroadnews - Tehran is interested in the speedy return of Japanese companies to Iran to participate in oil and gas projects, and projects in the field of exploration and production of hydrocarbons. This was stated by Minister of Petroleum Bijan Namdar Zanganeh, reports the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG) on Monday.
B.Zangane stressed that Tehran is ready to consider proposals of the Japanese side on investment in the Iranian oil and gas industry, as well as the possible participation of Japanese companies in oil and gas projects. He assured Tokyo on willingness to negotiate with Japanese companies "on the development of oil fields in Iran and energy supplies to foreign markets. The Minister also expressed the hope after lifting of sanctions lifted to receive the Japanese technology of oil production.
Earlier, the head of the Central Bank of Iran Waliullah Seif met with representatives of ten companies and 18 Japanese banks. They discussed the possibility of supplying to Iran auto parts, medical equipment and technologies for construction of railways and power plants.
Five years ago, Japan joined the sanctions against Iran. The country imports on average about 100 million barrels of "black gold" in the month, of which Iran today has not more than 5%.
Recall, the Japanese delegation headed by Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Daysiro Yamagiwa on Saturday arrived in Iran on a two-day visit.
