Tehran prepares for signing more than 40 bilateral agreements with Kazakhstan

Almaty. April 8. Silkroadnews - Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Islamic Republic of Iran Baghdad Amreyev met with Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported.

“The parties discussed the issues of trade-economic, investment, transport and logistics, and scientific and technical cooperation between the two countries, and exchanged views on preparations for signing more than 40 interstate, intergovernmental and commercial bilateral agreements in the industrial production, petro-chemistry, transportation, logistics, mining, agricultural and aerospace fields, and science and new technologies during the visit (of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to Iran - Silkroadnews),” said a statement posted by the Foreign Ministry on Friday.

It is noted that after the meeting the Iranian officials have expressed confidence that the Kazakhstani President’s visit to Tehran will give an additional impetus to the regional and bilateral cooperation in various fields and will become an important milestone in the development of cooperation between the two countries under new regional conditions.
As it has been reported earlier, on April 11-12 Nursultan Nazarbayev will visit Iran with the official visit.
