The Chinese Army again ranks among the top three world leaders of the Global Firepower

Almaty.  February 16. Silkroadnews - The Chinese army retained 3rd place out of 126 in the world ranking compiled by Global Firepower.
According to Global Firepower, in China, with a total population of 1.367 billion people, labor pool includes 750 million people, among them 619 million people are available for duty. Yearly the number of the Chinese citizens of the military age makes 19.5 million people.
Besides, the regular military personnel in China makes 2.33 million of people, with non-regular military forces of 2.3 million people.
China’s military budget is $55.6 billion, while the country’s foreign debt makes $949.6 billion.
The United States and Russia ranks the first and the second in the Global Firepower ranking respectively. Last year, China also ranked the third. Followed by India, the United Kingdom, France and South Korea.
Uzbekistan ranks the 54th, Kazakhstan – 66th, Kyrgyzstan – 78th, Tajikistan – 81st, Turkmenistan – 90th.
The last three places are occupied by Mali, Mozambique and Somalia.
In total the rating includes 126 countries.
