The Chinese authorities have canceled the policy of "one family - one child"

Almaty. October 29. Silkroadnews - The Chinese authorities decided to cancel the rule prohibiting families to have more than one child, the couple will be allowed from now on to have two children, Russian media reported.
"After coming to power in 2013, a new generation of Chinese leadership led by President Xi Jinping, it was announced the aim to ease the demographic policy, and today's decision was the implementation of these commitments",  - the agency wrote.
As recalled by the media, the family planning policy was initiated by the Chinese authorities in the late 70s of the last century in order to reduce rapid population growth. It included a ban on couples living in cities to have more than one child. The villagers could have two children if the first child was a girl.
