Almaty. October 16. Silkroadnews - The Government of China has developed a schedule and a "roadmap" pricing reform mechanism, transmits "People's Daily".
"By 2017, the price controls will be largely removed from the goods and services in competitive sectors. The government reserved the right to set the prices for key services only in public utilities, community service programs and products of natural monopolies, which are characterized by the presence of an integrated system of networks, such as electricity", - says the publication.
As noted, by 2020 reform should ensure the country almost a perfect mechanism, in which the decisive role is played by the market in pricing, government regulation of prices will be transparent, coherent and functioning anti-monopoly legislation.
The priority in the reform of the price declared 6 areas: agricultural products, energy products, environmental services, medical care, transportation, and utilities.
The Chinese government has been doing pricing reforms for several years. Already weakened price controls in the fields of medicine, telecommunications and transport.
Last month, at a meeting of the State Council, it was decided to reduce the list of goods and services for which prices are set by the Government, from 13 to 7 names.
