The Chinese market is one of the most important for Tajikistan, the Chamber of Commerce says

Almaty. February 16. Silkroadnews - The Chinese market is one of the most important markets for Tajikistan, the chairman of Commerce and Industry Chamber (CCI) of Tajikistan Sharif Said stated, according to the Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) on Tuesday.
“The Chinese market is one of the most important for Tajikistan, our business relations are very important for both countries,” - Sh. Said said during a meeting with the  Chinese Ambassador to Tajikistan Yue Bin.
According to him, China is one of the foreign trade partners of Tajikistan, currently the country implements projects in such areas as building the objects of the infrastructure, electricity power, manufacturing industry, joint ventures foundation.
In the course of the meeting the sides also noted the necessity to strengthen further the mutually beneficial economic cooperation, including the one between the private sectors of China and Tajikistan.
The side also emphasized the significance for the large-scale exhibition of China products planned in Dushanbe for the expansion of bilateral business cooperation and investment.
Currently Tajikistan realizes the Chinese grants to the amount of 1.2 billion yuan (nearly $185 million at the rate of 1USD = 6,5140 CNY).
