Almaty. November 2. Silkroadnews - The Afghan specialized hospitals do not have enough beds to treat addicts, reports Afghan News Agency (AfTAG).
"The shortage of beds to treat addicts is seen against the background of sharply increased number of this category in general dependent on Afghanistan", - informed the Afghan drug treatment center NEJAT, engaged in treatment and prevention of drug abuse, which is visited daily by about 200 patients.
According to state statistics, nearly 3 million people in Afghanistan use drugs, of which about 2 million - addicts.
The center reported that it turn to the government for help.
