Almaty. 10 September. Silkroadnews - UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon expects that an agreement on Iran's nuclear program will be implemented by Iran and the "six". This was stated by deputy spokesman of secretary general Farhan Haq, commenting on the possibility of failure of the transaction with Iran because of the position of the US Congress, reported the agency TASS.
According to the deputy, the implementation of an agreement on Iran's nuclear program could be one of the theme of talks between UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and US President Barack Obama in late September.
US Congress has a week for the final verdict on the Iranian nuclear deal. 60 days that US lawmakers took themselves to the study the document expire on September 17.
The agreement with Iran, is a joint comprehensive plan of action, which is not signed by the international "six", and therefore does not require ratification by national parliaments. The US Congress is not able to cancel the document, but is able to block its implementation. This can be done after months or even years, when it will be decided to remove from Iran economic sanctions.
