Earlier it was reported that more than 100 people were killed and about 600 injured.
The terrorist attack in Kabul took place on the morning of May 31. The mined tanker was destroyed at the checkpoint leading to the diplomatic quarter of the capital. According to the media, the terrorists used about 1.5 tonnes of explosives. More than 50 cars were destroyed by the blast wave, nearby buildings were fully or partially destroyed, buildings of diplomatic representations of a number of states were damaged.
The terrorist group “Islamic State” has claimed responsibility for the explosion.
