Almaty. January 20. Silkroadnews - European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has raised its forecast for GDP growth in Uzbekistan in 2015 to 7.8% against growth of 7.6%, which was granted in September 2014, reports UzTAG citing the bank.
According to EBRD experts, the economic growth of Uzbekistan in 2014 amounted to 8%.
Bank experts believe that the level of inflation in 2015 in Uzbekistan will remain at 11%, which corresponds to this indicator in 2014.
Bank notes that the economic crisis has not affected Uzbekistan, which continues to show steady growth. However, the situation in Russia will affect the economic development of Uzbekistan, because remittances from Russia to Uzbekistan will be reduced as well as the volume of mutual trade between the two countries.
