The EU has opened in Tashkent the Regional Center for Combating hazardous materials

Almaty. July 17. Silkroadnews - Regional Secretariat of centers of excellence deal with chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear materials in Central Asia, funded by the European Union (EU) was opened on Friday in Tashkent, reported the EU representation in Uzbekistan.
"Regional Secretariat will play an important role in ensuring an adequate level of cooperation and coordination with partner countries through their national coordination centers, and contribute to the preparation and implementation of new projects in the region", - said the representative.
Tashkent center will become the head, and in each of the Central Asian countries will make their headquarters. They will be engaged in the exchange of best practices, review of laws and regulations, technical capacity building in the fight against the spread of these dangerous materials.
