The first flight, scheduled for April 4, 2017, has been canceled due to a small number of tickets sold.

“All the arrangements reached on resumption of flight connection between Tashkent and Dushanbe remain valid. Tickets for this flight are being sold via the ticket offices. The tickets sold for the flight scheduled for April 4, 2017, are also valid, though the date remains open”, the press service reported.

Flight connection between the two states was interrupted in 1992 with beginning of the civil war in Tajikistan. In November 2016, in Dushanbe, a protocol was signed to resume the air traffic between the capitals of the two states in the first half of 2017.
