Astana. April 20. Silkroadnews - Holding in Kazakhstan the first forum of the regions of Kazakhstan and Poland are planned for 2015, reported the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
This was noted at a meeting of the Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Poland Erik Utembayev with the chairman of the Polish Senate Bogdan Borusewicz in Warsaw.
"E.Utembayev also informed about the reform of local government in the country, in the development of which was taken into account some extent progressive Polish experience. He stressed the importance of the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Kazakhstan region and Polish voivodships. A strong impetus to this process must give the first forum regions of Kazakhstan and Poland, which will be held in Kazakhstan this year",- said the Foreign Ministry.
Kazakh Ambassador noted the importance of strengthening cooperation between parliamentarians of the two countries, which provide an appropriate legal base, noted in the information.
In turn, Borusewicz stressed that Warsaw sees Astana as an important partner in Eurasia and is interested in strengthening bilateral dialogue at all levels. "Noting that the Senate of Poland has traditionally played a leading role in maintaining links with the vast Polish diaspora around the world, he said that he was pleased that Kazakhstan has created favorable conditions for ethnic Poles", - the report indicates.
The head of the Polish Senate stressed the importance of further strengthening of inter-parliamentary cooperation and expressed his wish to visit Kazakhstan this year.
