The five Central Asian countries and the United States signed in Samarkand joint declaration on partnership and cooperation

Almaty. November 2. Silkroadnews - The foreign ministers of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan and the US Secretary of State John Kerry signed in Samarkand a joint declaration on partnership and cooperation, KazTAG reports.
The sides announced the expansion and strengthening of business and investment contacts between the Central Asian states and the US, as well as the adoption of measures to combat the challenges of environmental sustainability, including by reaching a new agreement in Paris, which would contribute to the restoration of the climate regime, acceptable for all countries.
The sides also agreed to develop cooperation in the field of preventing and combating cross-border threats and challenges such as terrorism, proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, drug trafficking and human trafficking.
Recall, Samarkand hosted the joint meeting of foreign ministers of the five countries and US Secretary John Kerry.
