The Government of Afghanistan will hold peace talks with Taliban
Almaty. February 24. Silkroadnews - The head of a government of national unity of Afghanistan, Abdullah Abdullah said that the peace talks with the Taliban group will begin in the near future, reported Afghan News Agency (AfTAG).
During the weekly cabinet meeting on Monday, Abdullah Abdullah insisted that in negotiations with the Taliban group will not be done any fundamental concessions. He ensured that the peace talks will only serve to improve the situation and stability in the country.
According to Abdullah Abdullah, the United States also showed flexibility in the Afghan peace process that satisfied the Government of Afghanistan.
Statement of Abdullah Abdullah came amid recent reports that the Taliban leadership has approved the preliminary peace talks with the government of Afghanistan in an attempt to find a solution to end the violence in the country.
As previously reported AfTAG, delegation of Taliban leaders affiliated with the political representative of the terrorist movement in Qatar, plans to visit Pakistan in the near future.
