On June 1, the company begin mass layoffs. According to the plan for the restructuring, the company will leave 14 thousand employees. Estimated number of laid-off employees will be 6 thousand people.
Earlier Ch.Mueller informed that Malaysia Airlines will hold a total re-branding after a series of disasters with Boeing.
According to estimates of the Malaysian consulting firm Endau Analytics, after two accidents with flights MH370 and MH17 airline loses one to two million dollars a day. Thus, total losses of Malaysia Airlines for the past three years amounted to approximately $1.3 billion.
