Almaty. December 3. Silkroadnews - International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has not confirmed Iran's development of nuclear weapons after 2009, reported RBC.
According to agency estimates, various actions related to the development of nuclear explosive devices were made in Iran before the end of 2003. However, the IAEA noted that these activities are not advanced beyond feasibility studies and research, as well as the acquisition of "certain technical competencies and capabilities".
In July 2015, Tehran and the "six" of international mediators (Russia, US, China, Britain, France and Germany) have reached an agreement on the nuclear issue. In exchange for curtailing Tehran's program to enrich uranium, Western countries have pledged to phase out economic sanctions.
