The IEA raised its forecast of world oil demand in 2016 by 100 thousand barrels per day

Almaty. November 13. Silkroadnews - The International Energy Agency (IEA) raised its forecast for global oil demand in 2015 and 2016 by 100 thousand barrels a day compared to the October estimate of 94.6 million barrels a day and 95.8 million barrels a day respectively, says the agency TASS.
As noted, in comparison with 2014, demand growth in 2015 will amount to 1.8 million barrels - the highest level in 5 years. However, already in 2016 demand growth will slow to 1.2 million barrels of oil per day.
At the same time, the IEA raised its forecast for oil production in Russia in 2016 by 120 thousand barrels per day compared to the October estimate of 11.1 million barrels per day.
