Almaty. April 9. Silkroadnews - The inauguration of the newly elected President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov will be held on April 10, informs KazTAG.
In accordance with the law, the president of Uzbekistan shall take office after taking the oath in the parliament, not later than 2 months after the official announcement of election results.
On Monday, the Central Election Commission summed up the final results of the past on 29 March presidential elections, in which Karimov scored 90.39% of the vote with a turnout of 91.08% of voters.
