Almaty. October 28. Silkroadnews - Experts believe that the increase of gold reserves in China contributes to the internationalization of the Chinese yuan, reported the newspaper "People's Daily".
"At the end of September this year, the gold reserves of China reached 1708.5 tons, with an increase of 654.4 tonnes compared to April 2009. According to this index, China ranks fifth in the world", - says the publication.
As stated by the participants of an international conference on the Chinese mining industry-2015, steadily growing gold reserves of China plays a very important role in the internationalization of the Chinese currency, as well as provides stability in global financial markets.
Assistant General Director of the company Shandong Gold Mining Van Peyyue, in turn, expressed confidence that in the foreseeable future, China's mining industry, especially gold, will develop quite rapidly.
