Almaty. February 26. Silkroadnews - Inflation rate in Kyrgyzstan, this year's will amount to 10-11%, reported KyrTAG referring to the head of economic department of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan Seilbek Urustemov.
"Inflation in 2015 will amount to 10-11%, barring shocks. In the medium term, we intend to reduce inflation to 5-7%. This can be achieved. We will achieve this goal through monetary policy and its consistency with other financial agencies",- said S. Urustemov at a press conference on Thursday.
He also commented on the Ministry of Economy forecast that inflation in Kyrgyzstan by the end of the year will be 13%. According to S. Urustemov, this assessment is given in view of a possible deterioration of the situation.
