The joint Russian-Chinese University in the city of Shenzhen will receive its first students in 2016

Astana. September 9. Silkroadnews - Joint Russian-Chinese University in the city of Shenzhen will receive its first students in 2016, said the vice-rector of Moscow State University Sergei Shahray.
"The relevance of our project is connected with the realization of geopolitical and geoeconomic projects of economic belt of the Silk Road in connection with the integration of the EAEC", - said S. Shahray at the board meeting on cooperation in the sphere of education of CIS member states in Astana.
He noted that this issue was not accidentally included in the agenda of the event.
He recalled that the proposal to establish a joint Russian-Chinese University in Shenzhen, China, received the support of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xin Jinping during the official visit to Shanghai of the head of Russian Federation in May 2014.
He added that the next on the same grounds, where locates the Russian-Chinese University, planning to found 6 universities of California, Scotland, Denmark, Australia.
"The result is the first cluster of 7 universities", - he concluded.
