Almaty. March 28. Silkroadnews - The next meeting of the heads of CIS (the Commonwealth of Independent States) states council shall be held in Bishkek on June 7, 2016, KyrTAG reports.

As the press service of the CIS Executive Committee informed, on March 29, 2016, in Minsk the CIS Executive Committee will carry out regular meeting of the council of permanent plenipotentiary representatives of the Commonwealth at the statutory and other bodies of the Commonwealth.

“It is expected that the permanent plenipotentiary representatives will form the draft agenda of the meeting of the heads of CIS States Council scheduled for June 7, 2016, in Bishkek,” the information provided by the executive committee says.

The document includes questions regarding, in particular, cooperation between the CIS countries in the field of trade, innovation, electric power, chemical industry, exchange of geospatial information, health care and culture. A number of documents shall be devoted to creation of the basic institutions of the CIS member states in various areas. Traditionally, the heads of the governments will consider the issues of the Commonwealth’s financial and economic performance.

“In addition, permanent plenipotentiary representatives will discuss the information by the CIS executive committee on the implementation of the Commonwealth cooperation programs in the field of security in 2015,” – the text stated.

The programs are reported to be fully implemented, which made it possible to consolidate the positive trends in the CIS member states’ activities in ensuring their security. The legal and institutional frameworks for cooperation in the field of law enforcement have been strengthened significantly, the potential of the Commonwealth member-countries to implement the measures to combat the crime has been fully involved.

“The members of the permanent representatives’ council will also consider the execution of a single budget of the CIS bodies for the last year, including receipt and outflow of contributions by the Commonwealth states and prospects for this year budget implementation,” the message said.
