The number of crimes related to extremism and terrorism in Kazakhstan increased by 17% in the I half

Almaty. August 5. Silroadnews - in Kazakhstan in January-June 2014 recorded 76 crimes related to extremism and terrorism, which is 16.9% more than in the corresponding period last year, told KazTAG citing Committee on Legal Statistics and Special Records of the General Prosecutor's Office RK.
According to information provided by the Committee at the request KazTAG in the I half of this year, there were 76 crimes related to extremism and terrorist activities on the territory of Kazakhstan. Including: Almaty city- 16 crimes, Karaganda region - 14 crimes, Almaty and Pavlodar regions - 18 crimes, Western Kazakhstan and Aktobe regions - 12 crimes, Atyrau, Mangistau and South Kazakhstan regions - 12 crimes, Akmola region - 2 crime, Zhambyl region and Astana - 2 crime.
