The SCO member states’ Ministers of Culture will meet in Tashkent

Almaty. June 20. Silkroadnews – On June 21-22 Tashkent will host the 13th meeting of Ministers of Culture of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Member States, the press-service of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan reported.

“The heads of the departments of Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will discuss the state and perspectives for development of cooperation in the cultural field and other topics on the agenda of multilateral cooperation,” the statement said.

To remind, on June 23-24 Tashkent hosts the 15th Summit of the SCO member states heads.

Currently, the SCO full membership states are China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Afghanistan, Belarus, India, Iran, Mongolia and Pakistan have observer status. Turkey, Sri Lanka, Armenia, Nepal, Cambodia and Azerbaijan have been granted the dialogue partner status.
