The strategic partnership agreement between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan entered into force
Almaty. April 21. Silkroadnews – Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister Kairat Abdrakhmanov met with his Tajik counterpart Sirojiddin Aslov, who arrived in Astana to participate in the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the press service of the Kazakhstani Foreign Ministry reported.
In the course of the meeting the parties held consultations on a wide range of issues of the Kazakhstan-Tajikistan cooperation.
Following the talks, the ministers exchanged certificates on ratification of the strategic partnership agreement between the countries. Thus, the strategic partnership agreement between two states entered into force.
The ministers also agreed to pay special attention to the joint investment projects, prospects for electricity supplies, cooperation in the field of agriculture and transit transport.
