Almaty. 11 September. Silkroadnews - The theme of the V Summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (CCTS) will be cooperation in the field of information, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On the eve, in Astana was held a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) of the CCTS with participation of foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and heads of international organizations of Turkic-speaking countries, including the CCTS, TurkPA, TURKSOY, Turkic Academy Foundation of Turkish Culture and Heritage and the Council of Elders.
At a meeting of the Ministerial Council considered the draft decisions of Heads of State on the appointment of a representative of the Turkish Republic as Deputy Secretary General of the CCTS, the representative of Azerbaijan - president of the Turkish culture and heritage. Draft documents, in particular, the Astana Declaration and other planned for adoption by the heads of member states of the Organization.
In addition, at the meeting of Foreign Ministers signed a number of additional documents of international organizations such as the Turkic Academy and the Foundation of Turkic culture and heritage, heard and approved the reports of the CCTS, TurkPA, TURKSOY, Turkic Academy.
It also reported that they discussed the participation of the CCTS in international organizations with observer status in the acquisition of the UN and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. Heard presentations by the heads of international organizations, which done work over the past year since the last summit, and made a great contribution to the strengthening of mutual understanding and respect between the all brotherly countries.
