The trade turnover of Kazakhstan with the EEU countries decreased by 28.6% in 2015

Almaty. February 16. Silkroadnews - In 2015 the volume of the mutual trade between Kazakhstan and the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) countries amounted to $15772.2 million, which is 28.6% less compared to 2014, the report by the Statistics Committee of the Ministry of the National Economy states.
According to statistics, for the reporting period the export into the EEU countries made $4.8868 billion (decreased by 31.7%), with import of $10885.4 million (-27.1%).
Kazakhstan’s export structure is dominated by mineral products (with their share of 43.9% of total exports to the EEU countries), followed by the chemical products (19.4%), metals and metal products (17.7%), products of animal and vegetable origin, convenience food products (8.6%).
Import from the EEU countries mainly includes machinery and equipment (29.7% of total imports from the EEU countries), mineral products (15%), chemical industry (14%), metals and metal products (13.8%), animal products and vegetable, convenience food products (13.2%).
