The trade turnover of Tajikistan with the CIS countries in January amounted to $145 million
Almaty. February 24. Silkroadnews - In January of this year, the turnover of Tajikistan with the CIS countries amounted to $145 million, which is 22.9% or $42.9 million less than in the same period of 2014, reported the Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Tuesday.
"Tajikistan significantly reduced the volume of trade with the six countries of the CIS", - stated in the statistical report of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade for January.
In particular, turnover decreased with Azerbaijan, Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. So, in January 2015, the trade turnover between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan amounted to $346.8 thousand. The percentage reduction is 96.1%. This figure was 51.9% with Belarus and Kazakhstan - 31.8%.
Meanwhile, in January, there was a sharp increase in trade with the four countries of the CIS. Significant growth was marked in trade with Moldova - by 3.9 times, Turkmenistan - 35.2% and Kyrgyzstan - 33.1%.
