The trade turnover of Tajikistan with the SCO countries in January amounted to $174 million

Almaty. March 2. Silkroadnews - Turnover of Tajikistan with the countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in January of this year totaled to $173.8 million, informed the Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Monday.
Most of the mentioned sum falls on trade with Russia, Kazakhstan and China. The amount of trade turnover of Tajikistan with these countries amounted to more than $172.1 million.
At the same time there is a decrease in trade with the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan and China on the background of the rising trade with Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Tajikistan's trade surplus with the SCO countries was negative, except Uzbekistan.
Imports from Russia, Kazakhstan, China and Kyrgyzstan is in times greater than exports, and only with Uzbekistan exports exceed imports. Trade turnover between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan in January of this year amounted to only $79 thousand.
