The UK General Staff did not exclude the possibility of the resumption of the military mission in Afghanistan

Almaty. August 5. Silkroadnews - the General Staff of Great Britain does not exclude the possibility of the resumption of its military mission in Afghanistan, according to Afghan News Agency (AfTAG).
"If necessary, the United Kingdom will renew a military mission in Afghanistan", - quotes agency the head of the General Staff of the United Kingdom Peter Wall's on Tuesday.
He noted that due to operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, British troops  have formed a generation of soldiers who took a direct part in hostilities and who are ready to respond adequately to new challenges.
"Now it is important for Afghan forces to continue to confront the threat of the return of "Al Qaeda" to the country. But if the "Taliban" revives, and "Al-Qaeda" again start to create their nests, we will have to consider the adoption of additional measures. At the moment this is the case of Afghans and their goverment"- he noted.
P. Wall expressed his hope that Kabul is able to overcome existing threats on their own.
