Moreover, a large share of growth during this period provided the increase purchases of Iranian oil by India (+ 41.5%), China (+ 28.3%), while shipments to Japan and South Korea decreased slightly - by 4.9% and 6 8% respectively.
In accordance with the interim agreement on the Iranian nuclear program reached between Tehran and the "six" of international mediators in November 2013, the country has the right to export 1 million barrels of oil per day. Prior to the tightening of international sanctions in early 2012, Iran delivered daily to their foreign customers more than 2.2 million barrels of oil.
According to some analysts of the global energy market, with the exception of China, Iran's main partners in Asia do not intend to further increase the volume of imports of Iranian oil, preferring to wait for the final results of the international negotiations on its nuclear program, which shall be announced by June 30 of this year.
