There are 4,238 hospitals of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China

Beijing. March 20. Silkroadnews - According to Ma Jianzhong, deputy chief of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, there are currently 4,238 Traditional Chinese Medicine hospitals in China with 877,000 beds, Xinhua reports.
The centers and hospitals of traditional Chinese medicine account for about 10% of the total health and medical resources throughout the country, and about 17% of the country’s outpatients use traditional Chinese medicine services.
Prior to campaign on boosting the effectiveness of traditional Chinese medicine at the grassroots level in 2012, only 75.6% of public health centers provided traditional Chinese medicine services, and by the end of 2016 this figure had risen to 97.5%.
At the level of villages and township, the number of health facilities providing traditional Chinese medicine services increased from 83.3% to 94.3%.
