There is a growth in organ donations observed in China

Beijing. April 2. Silkroadnews - According to the Red Cross Society of China, China has seen a rise in the number of organ donations since the country began a pilot donation program in 2010, the Global Times reported.
By the end of March, nearly 46,500 organs had been donated to China, and almost 422,000 Chinese people had registered as voluntary organ donors.
China ranks first in Asia by the annual number of organs both donated and transplanted.
After long-term efforts, China has established a mechanism for fair allocations of the donor organs, the Red Cross Society reported.
