According to data published on Wednesday by the US Treasury, China in January of this year reduced its holdings in the U.S. government debt.
The data showed that China reduced its U.S. Treasury holdings by $7.3 billion to $1.051 trillion in January 2017.
Last December China was reported to increase its holdings in the U.S. government debt.
