Beijing. 27 March. Silkroadnews - Russia has extended a list of checkpoints passing cargos using carnet TIR, the Kazakh News Agency (KazTAG) reported citing press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
According to the commission’s statement, starting from April 14, another three car checkpoints - Brusnichnoye, Nekhoteyevka, Troyebortnoye - will pass the freights imported into Russia using TIR  carnet. The appropriate order has been approved by Russia’s ministry of finance. Thus, Russia becomes the first state implementing a “roadmap” to remove obstacles in the market of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) in 2018-2019.
The TIR Carnet, as explained, is a customs transit document that simplifies the customs procedure and permits to transport goods across the state borders using vehicles or containers sealed by customs.
The move is to allow entrepreneurs to significantly reduce their labor and material costs, raising quality of cargo transportation logistics.
