Tourist flow to Uzbekistan increased 17%

Almaty. October 4. Silkroadnews – The tourist flow to Uzbekistan increased 17%, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said at the meeting on tourism development prospects on October 3, the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) reports.
For nine months of 2017 around 1 million 800 thousand tourists visited our country, which is a 17% increase compared to the same period of 2016, the press service of the head of state said.
According to Sh. Mirziyoyev, “export of tourism services grew 17% and amounted to 1,86 billion dollars. The number of tourists visiting our country is expected to exceed 2.5 million people by the end of the year.”
